I am absolutely in love with my ebike. For someone who had a knee injury and arthritis has given me my mobility and freedom back. The only issue I have is on the 2nd level it makes a lot of noise. When I switch to lower or higher levels it isn’t a problem.

some issues with the derailleur and chain coming off the end of the highest gear (smallest chain ring).

All okay but I had to take it in to have the gear selector adjusted.

I was hesitant to buy my first e-bike as a long time acoustic bike commuter and hobbyist. This bike has increased my weekly riding times, allowed me to choose when I want a heart rate raising ride vs a commute to work without sheeting sweat, and has far exceeded my highest hopes. My commute is 7mi one way w a mild elevation change of 400-500 ft. I get at least 55-60 mi out of each charge doing this ride daily. The Radster Road has a smooth assist thanks to the torque sensor without the jerkiness that some other bikes I tried had. The front suspension really smooths out the city potholes I navigate daily. The hydraulic brakes stop the bike fast even from speed and w lots of mass on board. The interface is straightforward. I charge overnight usually but on some experimentation I can eke an additional 20mi charge in a couple of hours (rough estimate). My one complaint is likely not realistic. I have been on acoustic bikes as a near daily event for about 30 years now. E-bikes are just heavier. The battery is dense. The frame has to support that extra mass and be able to stop it from high speed without flexing. Don’t even consider buying a 70lb bike without hydraulic brakes (which the Radster has). Nevertheless, picking up a 70lb bike to carry it up stairs or onto a car carrier. Is different than doing the same w a 25 lb bike. This is NOT a Radster issue. This is an e-bike issue. If you want to go to electric just be sure to keep this in mind. If you go electric, the Radster is a GREAT choice.

I have been able to rehabilitate my left knee with the pedal assist on the Radster. I am 56 years old and getting younger every day with bike rides on local paved trails. I do 35 mile rides at effort levels of my choosing.

This is my 2nd Rad bike. The first was a RadCity (2018). I put over 5,000 miles on it and it's now my wife's bike. It still works great by the way. The Radster Road is definitely an upgrade in many ways though. While it took me a while to get used to the torque sensor way of pedal assist, I now prefer it over the cadence sensor way. The ride is smoother which lessons the thumping of sidewalk cracks better. I also like the way I can adjust the class setting too. I keep mine at class 3 but will lower that when needed to comply with restricted areas. One downside is the weight. It is quite heavy which makes it super hard to pedal without the assist. Even pedal assist #1 can be a workout. I keep mine at #3 most of the time but move to #4 or #5 when I run into hills. All in all, a great upgrade to my RadCity and I would recommend this bike to anyone looking for a good e-bike at a reasonable price.

Love it. This has completely changed my commute for the better. The PAS system is smooth and easy to use. You can get up to 28 MPH on regular streets and being able to keep up with (or pass) cars on something so stable makes the ride feel very safe. Bars ride similar to mountain bike bars. A 17 mile round trip commute doesn’t drop the battery below 50%. The flexibility that this has given me on my commute has been amazing and I only regret not getting this sooner.
