RadExpand™ 5 Plus Electric Folding Bike

I resisted buying an e-bike for fear of driving something I could lose control of. In my sixties and with replacement knees, I had stopped biking for exercise because of hills and/or the need to go longer distances. My partner got a standard-sized e-bike and wanted me to get one. I was worried about the size and height of it. Then I tried the smaller ‘stingray’ sized Expand and found what I needed, closer to the ground. While the bike is heavy, I feel I can safely stop and get feet on the ground. Now I bike 15-20 miles every time I go out. Friends call these bikes ‘cheaters.’ All I know is, I use the throttle only to get started. I pedal every inch of the route. I’m exercising outdoors and looking for bike trails. We fold the bikes and easily put them in the back of the car. I love this bike.

The bike is working tremendously well. It is easy to fold up and I put it in the back of my subaru. Love the suspension and is effortless to ride. Awesome bike!

This is a very well built bike. Sometimes I feel like I am riding a small motorcycle. It is very easy to fold and set up. My wife and I each bought one and we plan to use them with our class B van around various parks and campsites.

I unboxed it myself and it has never been able to go into high gear. I don't know how to adjust the derailer.

Ride is smooth and comfortable. Has all the bells and whistles/features I love and easy to ride, mount and dismount. Would highly recommend this bike and have!

After putting 4500 miles on my mini4 and needing motor rapairs I decided I needed a spare bike and chose this radexpand5 plus. Pleased to say it's been great the past 200 miles I've had it. Love the new features and the overall quality of the bike. Glad I bought another rad bike.

So much fun, very comfortable ride and being able to fold up has allowed me to put in my sons truck when we want to go ride as a family.

I love my RadExpand 5 plus! Easy on and off. Smooth ride having the front suspension. It feels safe to ride. The RadRover was getting to feel unsafe for me getting off of it. This is a great fit. Plus it folds if needed!
